is the symbol of the new generation of competition riders...

Claire GOSSELIN, 15 years old, wanted to manifest herself as a competition rider.

In 2001 she accumulated 13 victories at 13 contests in dressage (Paris), winning the French Championship for Cadet (under 16 years) 2001 with LIZELL DE LAUTURE, holsteiner mare 8 years old, bought at the end of year 2000 directly in Denmark among the selection of Pia MUNCK.

Carrying on her way successfully, Claire arrived at the 2nd place in the French Championship for Juniors 2002.

And it was in a powerful collected trot, the horse tended in front of the legso of the rider, that Claire GOSSELIN with brightness took her Danish mare LIZELL DE LAUTURE towards an indisputable victory in Vierzon in the French Championship of Juniors 2003, and then two weeks later achived a fantastic 12th place at the finals of the European Championship for Juniors... as well as a victory in the French Championship level B (3 level).

And it is with brilliance that the couple has taken the silver medal in the Championship of France for Young Riders 2004... and a 6th place at the French Championship of Petit Tour (St. George / Inter I)... BRAVO!

The key to success was employed... here is the interpretation of Claire and her parents:

" There was a significant choice of horses in Denmark where we went with Pia MUNCK.

We chose LIZELL because it had a great stability, good paces and moreover it is a mare which interested us for our breeding.

And we did well ! The generosity of LIZ and the constant progress of the couple which it forms with Claire gave us reason. The serious and right work of our trainer Serge CORNUT made come out the paces of this mare.

We also thank the national trainer Margit OTTO CREPIN, who with her excellent councils gave a very significant support to us."

Claire GOSSELIN and LIZELL DE LAUTURE already approaches in the everyday work the exercises such as the piaff, the passage, the pirouettes and the series of 2 times flying changes.

Sylvie POULAIN, trainer in obstacle, wanted to change to dressage. Her dream was to compete one day in Prix Sct George.

Accompanied by Pia MUNCK / SCANDINAVIAN DRESSAGE in Denmark, she bought a beautiful stallion, espoir with potential Grand Prix ,7 years old and at the niv. L (3rd level), with whom she winns the KÜR Prix Sct George in Grenoble 3 years later.

The following year, after having continued educating ADENAUER, trakehner approved now 11 years old, she went for the Grand Prix... and wants to expres herself here :

"ADENAUER is a trakehner stallion, sure on himself, that nothing impresses...

Acquired at 7 years old, I fell for him at first sight becauce of his exceptional walk (note: 9 out of 10 at the test of appouval) and the elastic trot.

On the other hand, the flying changes were dubious and seemingly his weak point !

Thanks to patience and research for the solutions, it is, today, his strong point and he can make a number of one time flying changes far beyond the requirement of the Grand Prix, whether it is on a straight line or on a circle...

As for the piaff, the training was long and sometimes despairing... but today it's becoming his second strong point with much of easiness in the transitions piaff/passage.

Conclusion: what appears difficult in the beginning is not always the weak point of the horse in the future!

Following my accident in June 2003 (on the ground with a young horse) ADENAUER is now ridden by Gilles SIAUVE to whom I wish all the success that I thought of obtaining this year in Grand Prix...

I thank Pia MUNCK for having been offered a choice of horses of the potential Grand Prix at the time of my purchase-trip to Denmark and to have put at my range this adventure, because Pia was able to detect the potential of our couple beyond my dreams at the time (BEES 1 option obstacle)."

Gilles SIAUVE currently collects the victories with his new competitionhorse ADENAUER in Intermediaire II and in the Grand Prix Special, and he has taken recently the 5th place in the French Championship 2003.

And in 2004, having recouperated from her accident, Sylvie POULAIN riding ADENAUER was placed 7th (out of 21) in the Grand Prix at their first International Competition in Pompadour... Bravo !
